Well, it’s time to embark on the end of the first half of the Stormlight Archive. I am curious to see how this part of the story is wrapped up. So much happened last book.

Kauri was a great asymmetric game of colonization and survival, where every faction felt different enough to be interesting, but not so complicated the teach went on for hours and we were ever really lost. Highly recommend if Root is too muach or too long for your group.
No photos, but played Coloretto, Short Zoot Suit, Pass Pass, and Kauri last night. Coloretto is still a great design, even if I was destroyed by chance and pushing my luck. Short Zoot Suit is both a fun design, and hilarious art! Those bears and their Zoot Suits getting shorter and shorter!
And first game of Flatiron with my favorite 2-player opponent, my eldest son. This is a solid 2 player only game from the team behind White Castle and Red Cathedral. Lots of variability, players always have some unique powers, and just a solid experience. And made for a very close game first time around. Highly recommended.
First game of Tabriz. This is about 1 round from the end, and it came down to a tiebreaker. Solid engine builder from Randy Flynn, creator of Cascadia. Definitely recommended!
Organizing some games, and sleeving the cards in Arcs. Looking forward to playing Hamster Roll this week, and hopefully a few more.
Just finished the Star Wars: The High Republic books. Well, at least those currently published. Happy to see Star Wars doubling down on inclusion. Still very human/humanoid centered, but otherwise looking good. At least in the novels.
Really looking forward to traveling this next year. I havenโt been out of the US in a hot minute.
Going to try and post more. I do exist on the internet, even if I don’t post, right?

Doing some rereading so I donโt have to think too hard right now.
Purchased December 1966. Practically a family heirloom now. Also, aside from one unfortunate blues cover all excellent songs.

Interesting book. There really isnโt a climax to the trilogy. There is an event, and then a sort of continuation that isnโt a climax, or a denouement, and only ties some threads up. Enjoyable, but different. Donโt regret reading it though.
A little noisier than yesterdayโs choice, but this album still absolutely rips. Hardcore & Black Metal colliding in cathartic violence.

Solid entry in the wayward children series. Really enjoyed this one.
Havenโt listened to this one in a bit. Definitely A stronger entry in the TMBG discography.
